2010 Green Energy Summit to be Held March 24-26
MILWAUKEE – The 2010 Green Energy Summit will be held Wednesday, March 24 – Friday, March 26 at the Midwest Airlines Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee. This is the seventh annual summit, which is hosted by the Wisconsin Technical College System.
A dedicated theme has been developed for each day of the Summit:
Wednesday, March 24 - Green Business Thursday, March 25 - Green Energy Friday, March 26 - Green Career Pathways
Each day will feature three plenary sessions followed by breakout sessions (16 each on Wednesday and Thursday; 8 on Friday) that address specific topics related to the daily theme.

Notable presenters include: Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett; Actor and activist Ed Begley, Jr.; Anguilla Speaker of the House of Assembly and COP15 Climate Change Summit delegate David Carty; Mark Chandler, NASA Goddard Institute of Space Studies; Founding Dean of the College of Environmental Sciences at Beijing University and current chairman of the university's Environment Fund C.S. Kiang; Wisconsin State Senator Mark Miller (16th District); Arctic explorer Will Steger; and Ohio State University School of Earth Sciences Distinguished University Professor and member of the National Academy of Sciences Lonnie Thompson.

The cost for the three-day event is $250. One-day registration is available for $125. Discounts are available for educators (faculty and staff) and staff members of non-profit organizations.
