MILWAUKEE (July 5, 2010) - Milwaukee Area Technical College is now a Direct Lending School.  The following information affects all students seeking a student loan for the 2010-11 school year.

Students who have not previously received a loan from MATC and are requesting a loan must complete Direct Loan Entrance Counseling and sign a Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN).  If you do not complete Direct Loan Entrance Counseling and sign a Direct Loan Master Promissory Note, you will not receive a loan.

Students who have completed online loan counseling previously must complete a new Direct Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN).  If you do not complete a Direct Loan Master Promissory, you will not receive a loan.

Please visit studentloans.gov to complete the Direct Loan Entrance Counseling and to sign a Direct Loan Master Promissory Note.
